This buck has the best feet & legs we could have hoped for.  Rear legs have excellent angle, and all 4 feet point straight ahead....something we see as an area of improvement in Alpines lately.  He also offers width of chest floor, and width between the hocks both in movement and standing - something we have been striving to achieve.  Mobster maintains his dam’s heavy bone and his sire’s extreme length.

We liked his first babies so much - we had to keep a daughter back.  We chose to keep Xtraordindairy Mob Boss Lady (aka "M3") out of  Xtraordindairy RHXB Mesmerise.  Mesmerize and Mobster are both out of SG Soldier-Mtn Nyeri Mirage.

We like the pedigree on this buck and were not willing to pass on the opportunity to bring him to the Midwest.  We wanted to reinfoce the beautiful udders we have been getting from Vesuvius, & there is certainly no question with his dam lines consistency in beautiful udders.  Rima and her sisters have long been favorites of ours.  We admire their length, style, general appearance and strength. 

We have been a long time fan of SEQUOIA as well.  We are honored to own a daughter of Sequoia (Soldier-Mtn Sequoia MASQUERADE) and her overall correctness, strength, udder attachment and milk production is highly valued in our herd.  We hope to bring a new level of consistency reinforcing those characteristics through Rimrock. 

Rimrock has many sons and daughters working in both dairies and show herds.  Rimrock is the sire of the 2013 SPOTLIGHT SALE buck.

We are excited that Rimrock has daughters winning Junior GCH, Sr. GCH & BOB this year.  He also has sons and daughters producing show CH too.

We have thought highly of this buck from the moment he stood up the first time.  Long, tall, dairy with lots of frame.  We appreciate the milk behind this buck and hope to see him pass that to his progeny.

His first kids were upright, long and very eye catching.  His first and only daughter (a solid black) to show, was shown at the Houston Stock show and was 2nd in her class.

The sad truth is, no matter how much we like him, we own his sire and another of his paternal brothers....and we own a handful of Spice daughters.  We just don't have that many options for him with our current herd. 

It just so happens - Brandt's BSTS Selebrate is the dam of Soldier-Mtn's very fancy show doe SGCH Hoach's CC Sunshine.  This line will milk AND show.  Sunshine also appears on the TOP TEN list.

Years were spent waiting for this guy.....and are so very pleased to have him here.  Backlash is strong, wide and powerful with a masculine head and uphil topline.  His dam is beautiful and we are very excited about her LA Udder scores. 

Backlash's pedigree is more than proven in the show pen.  We really like this guy so we have some exciting crosses planned for Backlash....and isn't is fun to report the kids are turning out like we had hoped!  Really these Backlash kids are exceeding our expectations so far.  Backlash's first few daughter's are correct, medium sized does that have freshed with lovely, well attached udders with desireable teat placement.  We hope to freshen more daughters again in 2016.

*Wally did everything he was asked to do - he added bone, improved legs and added beautiful arch's to escutcheons.  His kids are wide, smooth, correct, upstanding and have excellent bone.  They all have a beautiful heads and overall a very nice eye appeal.  His kids consistantly earned EC in head, front legs, rear legs, back and rump.....as well as all of them earning a V in feet.

His FIRST daughter to show stood BEST JR IN SHOW and his other daughter stood GCH & 2x Res GCH.

Now a TOP TEN & TOP 20 National Show sire and he stood (via 3 of his dtrs) 4th in Jr Get Of Sire at 2013 Nationals.  His daughter, OverTheMoon was Anahle's Showmanship companion and they finished a very exciting 2nd place in Jr Showmanship!

Years ago when we first saw So Rare - we absolutely fell in love with her style, her general appearance and the grace she moved around then pen with..... knowing then, that we would want to add her to our program in the future.  After seeing Lourdes, another Lanmark Elijah daughter it confirmed to us that we wanted that line in the program.  We were very excited when So Rare was bred AI to +*B Kickapoo Valley Gold Challenge (Gold Challenge & his sire California Gold can be found in many many TOP pedigrees <Super Saga's sire's dam is an own daughter of Gold Challenge>) and SERIOUSLY GOLDEN was born.   The future has arrived.

We are very proud to see SLY received a EC overall at his YSA in 2013.  This guy has been special since he first stood up.  Lots of frame, length, long dairy bone pattern, levelness, open ribbing, excellent dairy character and good feet and legs.  Truly an individual we are honored to retain as our Jr Herdsire. 

JUAN's first kids to show have found great success - including class wins, GCH's / ResCh's, many Top 10, 15 & 20 finishes at Nationals.  They are long, level, stand on good feet and legs and recieved many EC's and V's in their YSA. 

Combined with his dam, SG SPICE's milk production (at 284 days in milk, Spice had produced 4,640# of milk - 166# of butterfat - 120# of protein) and her consistent and proven abilty to produce quiet, good minded individuals with a strong will to milk and outstanding ring 'presence' in the show pen (Spice's first daughter just scored a 90VEEE at her LA and has milked 03-01  253 – 3730 – 133 – 101 , becoming a 2*M)..... Spice has son's working in show herds & large commercial dairies.  Spice met the requirements for her milk STAR this year and that made Sly a *B buck. 

We wanted to introduce the JUAN CARLOS line into our Americans for their style, general appearnace and mammary systems.....and couldn't have hoped for a better young candidate to use.  Sly will be used this fall on a variety of does to really put him to the test.
